Bhortas and Maach

Bhortas – a traditional Bengali aubergine mix vegetarian dish. Maach – a popular Bengali dish originally made with Hilsa fish, but Salmon goes well with it too.


Niramish is a vegetarian dish prepared with mixed  vegetables. Lentils are sometimes added to vegetable niramish. A few spices of a very little amount are used in it.

Chingri Bhuna

A king prawn still in its shell, baked first in the tandoori oven and then finished off in a mixture of spices in the koraiand served with baked tomatoes and green herbs. Served with thick sauce.
